Comedian
Chris “Crazy Legs” Fonseca today launches a promotion
to give deployed military personnel a bit of comic relief.
Fonseca
plans to ship free copies of his latest CD, “Raising The
Bar,” to soldiers.
Through
cooperative efforts still being coordinated, Fonseca plans to
send one CD for every one purchased from now until December
7th.
It
is a effort close to the funnyman’s heart, as his father
and numerous uncles were servicemen.
Being
born with Cerebral Palsy, Fonseca and his wheelchair could not
follow in their footsteps.
He
isn’t allowed to perform in military “hot-spots,”
for obvious security concerns.
So,
he thinks this is a viable solution.
“If
I had the financial resources, I’d just send out thousands
of discs immediately,” Chris explained.
The
